All of our committees are very important in helping the association serve you and the community in many ways, so we hope you will volunteer your time and serve on at least one this year. This is your chance to make an even bigger difference. Choose the ones which interest you and sign up today.

2024 Committee Descriptions:
#BCSREALTORSGIVEBACK:
Promotes better relations between REALTOR® and the general public. Promotes the professionalism and integrity of the REALTOR® profession. Plan projects and activities that will contribute to the building and maintenance of a better community for all.
Committee includes but not limited to:
Bryan ISD Hope's Locker/ College Station ISD Chrissy’s Closet
Bowl for Brazos Valley Veterans
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (formerly known as Education):
Participates in the planning and implementation of orientation, educational seminars, workshops, designations, and CE courses.
GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS:
Sees that members and the public are better informed regarding important legislative and regulatory issues. Will include the follow responsibilities:
Establish a formalized reporting process for upcoming issues Monitor local newspaper legal notices –
Request our TREPAC chair to file a report on issues to membership after state meetings
Contact those REALTORS®that have elected or appointed positions to report issues to Association
Inform members of the public on all critical property rights issues
Post information to website and create links
Request issues mobilization funds from TAR as needed.
REALTOR®/BUILDER:
Promote closer cooperation between REALTORS® and Builders and works with both groups in the promotion of home sales. This committee is usually active in the spring and fall.
TREPAC & TREPAC FUNDRAISING:
Solicits funds from REALTOR® members and conduct fundraisers to contribute to TREPAC (Texas Association of REALTORS® Political Action Committee), which will then be contributed to the campaigns of candidates who have shown their concern for responsible government, the preservation of private property rights and the real estate industry. Also, to educate the membership of the purpose, effectiveness, structure, and record of TREPAC. This committee is active throughout the year.
YOUNG PROFESSIONALS NETWORK:
BCS REALTORS® YPN seeks to engage members under 40 years of age in meaningful ways by promoting the duty of service, by enhancing opportunities of professional growth, by providing avenues to Association leadership, and by shaping policies that meet the needs of young real estate professionals.
While BCS REALTORS® YPN promotes membership to younger REALTORS®, there are no exclusions to any BCS REALTOR® member who wishes to participate.
